Endodontic care of the dental patient has long been one of many aspects of the general dental practice. Over the past 25 years many advances in endodontic diagnosis, treatment planning and treatment protocols have evolved and with increasing numbers of our dental population keeping their dentition throughout their lifetime the complexities and challenges in endodontic care have increased over the years. This program will consist of a series of short presentations from the endodontic residents at VCU.This series of presentations is designed to help the general practitioner incorporate some of the recent innovations and techniques in endodontics within their practice and to better understand when a referral to an endodontist is indicated.
