Price increase after October 14

Botulinum Toxins and Dermal Fillers for Every Dental Practice will take place Nov. 1-2 at the ADA Headquarters in Chicago. The ADA is partnering with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics for the course.

Uses for botulinum neurotoxin include volumizing nasolabial folds and marionette lines, lifting up the corners of the mouth using anatomical landmarks, smoothing lip lines and eliminating vertical "smoker's" lines, and treating bruxism to relieve temporomandibular joint syndrome and headaches, including migraines.

Registrants can sign up for one or both days of the course. Each day is worth eight continuing education credit hours.

The cost for the course is $2,997 for both days for a member dentist and $1,797 for one day for a member dentist, $4,495 for both days for a nonmember dentist and $2,695 for one day for a nonmember dentist, and $790 for both days for a dental team member and $395 for one day for a dental team member.

Dental team members who register must accompany a dentist. Team members include those who legally cannot provide injections and are auxiliary to the practitioner. They may not include medical doctors, dentists, nurses or physician assistants.

Dentists can pay for product at the course with a credit card or cash. They will not receive change if paying with cash.

Participants should bring their own model patients.
