Volunteer a few hours of your time to judge science fair projects from exceptional high school students in Virginia. Regional fairs are held in February and March. Winners go on to compete in the Virginia State Regional Science and Engineering Fair in April.
Judge Job Description - You'll be asked to attend a fair (fair listings below) and pick some categories that may have interest to you or pertinence to dentistry. Review the projects, ask students questions, and select a project that has some scientific merit and is worthy of recognition by the VDA. The VDA awards a $100 prize and several certificates of merit at each regional fair. Everything you need will be at the fair, along with detailed instructions.
