Our dental community has been organizing to provide humanitarian relief for Ukrainians. Two options to assist are included below and we will update this page going forward with opportunities for VDA members to help: 

Doctors4Ukraine for Search & Rescue in Ukraine

VDA member Dr. Irina Hart has helped organize this fundraiser to benefit the Cleveland Maidan Association. This fundraising campaign will deposit collected funds with the Cleveland Maidan Association that is providing humanitarian aid to hospitals, front line medical services and Ukrainian families of fallen and wounded veterans in Ukraine. Dr. Hart is originally from Ukraine where she grew up and graduated from Kyiv-based University of Foreign Languages and recently shared this opportunity to help with the Richmond Dental Society. 

Ukraine Relief Fund

The California Dental Association Foundation has set up a relief fund to support the provision of dental care for Ukrainian soldiers and Ukrainian civilians displaced by Russian attacks organized by Polish humanitarian aid organizations and Pavel Niderman, DDS, a CDA member who practices in San Francisco. Dr. Niderman has been involved with humanitarian dental aid to Ukraine for four years. Anyone can make a one-time donation now.
