VDA Fellows is a class of membership that is reserved as an honor for those who by special devotion to the Virginia Dental Association, and to the profession of dentistry, have given freely of their time and energies to the end that the welfare of all has been promoted.
- A Fellow nominee must be an active, life or retired member of the Virginia Dental Association for at least 7 years.
- Nominees shall have given freely of their time and energies to their local component society, as well as the Virginia Dental Association and the profession of dentistry.
- Military and or federal service personnel having served a minimum of 2 years active duty and maintaining active membership in the ADA may be considered for VDA Fellowship after 5 years of VDA service.
How to Nominate: Nominations for Fellowship are made by the components and submitted to the VDA Fellows Selection Committee. Nominations are reviewed and those meeting the qualifications, as stated in the Fellows Bylaws, are elected to Fellowship by the Committee.
