The ADA is pleased to announce a number of wins in the latest budget passed by Congress and signed by President Obama in December. In addition to successfully lobbying for funding increases for the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research and for the CDC Division of Oral Health. In addition, the ADA won some significant tax victories, including a permanent extension of Sec. 179, allowing small businesses to deduct new equipment purchases up to $500,000, with a phase out at $2 million.
