Budget with 30 Percent Dental Medicaid Reimbursement Increase Sent to Governor Youngkin

On Thursday, June 1, following passage of a biennial budget that includes a 30 percent increase in the dental Medicaid reimbursement rate, VDA CEO Ryan Dunn and VDA President Dr. Scott Berman sent a letter to Governor Youngkin urging him to preserve this critical healthcare funding. Following passage in the General Assembly, Governor Youngkin has seven days to propose amendments or veto provisions in the budget. The rate increase included in the budget goes into effect July 1.
