VDA and specialty associations urge DMAS to increase OR access for Medicaid beneficiaries with dental needs

2/24/2023 3:49 PM The Virginia Dental Association, the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Virginia Academy of Pediatric Dentistry sent a letter to the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services urging director Cheryl Roberts to address the pressing lack of operating room access for patients whose extensive dental needs must be performed under anesthesia.
