HIPAA Privacy Update: February 16 Deadline Approaching for Dental Practices
Beginning Feb. 16, dental offices covered by HIPAA must update their HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP) to address the use and disclosure of Protected Health Information received from a Part 2 substance abuse use disorder treatment program under new federal requirements.
