VDA Workforce Legislation Signed and Approved by the Governor
Governor Spanberger has signed and approved SB282/HB1036, which were introduced by Senator Lashresce Aird and Delegate Kathy Tran, respectively, at the VDA's request this past legislative session. SB178/HB970, introduced by Senator Mamie Locke and Delegate Marcia Price, respectively, at the request of the VDA, were also approved by the Governor. Both bills will become effective on July 1, 2026.
