This session equips the entire dental team - dentists, hygienists, assistants, and business team members to confidently distinguish between prophylaxis and periodontal therapy when selecting CDT codes and documenting the clinical record. Attendees will learn what the clinical documentation must show to support each code, and how that documentation translates into a clean, defensible claim. A separate segment shifts to non-covered services as a distinct administrative topic, giving the team practical guidance for identifying and communicating these charges to patients.
