The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is allocating $15 billion to providers who participate in Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program and have not received a payment from the Provider Relief Fund General Allocation. Dentists are included in these funds. Details on the fund and eligibility can be found here.
If you are a Medicaid provider and have not already submitted an application to receive funds through this program, we encourage you to apply, even if you are uncertain whether or not you are eligible. The payment amount will be at least 2 percent of reported gross revenue from Medicaid and CHIP care. Providers are required to provide data to HHS, including the number of Medicaid patients served. The deadline to submit applications is July 20, 2020.
