Incorrect Phone Numbers Appearing on Google Business Profiles
We are aware that some members have encountered issues with incorrect phone numbers appearing on their Google Business Profiles. In some cases, unclaimed profiles have displayed phone numbers that direct callers to an automated service rather than the dental office.
To help prevent this, claim your Google Business Profile and request ownership. Google may require documentation to verify ownership. If the current profile owner does not respond to the request within three days, the profile will automatically transfer to the dentist. Google also provides an appeals process if a request is denied. Dentists with multiple practice locations can also submit corrections in bulk.
