Nineteen state dental associations, including the VDA, sent a response letter to the Commission on Dental Accreditation May 1, continuing to urge them to move forward with a review of faculty to student ratios in dental education programs. CODA signaled that it is forming an Ad Hoc Committee to review faculty to student ratios within the Accreditation Standards and the nineteen states requested additional information as to the scope and composition of the committee.
