COURSE DESCRIPTION: Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming dentistry, from diagnostic imaging and treatment planning to practice management and patient communication. This course will explore the current and emerging applications of AI within dental practice and the broader dental industry. Industry experts will discuss how AI-powered tools are being integrated into clinical workflows, how dental benefit organizations and technology companies are utilizing AI, and what dentists should consider when adopting these technologies. Participants will gain a clear understanding of how AI can enhance diagnostic accuracy, improve efficiency, and shape the future of dental care.
OBJECTIVES:
- Describe current applications of artificial intelligence in dentistry, including diagnostic imaging and clinical decision support tools.
- Evaluate the potential benefits and limitations of AI technologies in dental practice workflows.
- Discuss considerations for integrating AI solutions into dental practices while maintaining ethical and clinical standards.
